Do's & Dont's At Shooting Range

Follow Instructions

• Follow your instructor strictly
• DON’T WASTE TIME
• Rest only when you don’t have anything else to do or you actually need Rest
• Dedicated hard work is the strength for achievement
• BEHAVIOR AT RANGE
• Behave with your fellows, the way you want them to behave with you
• DON’T MAKE NOISE
• No unnecessary noise during the training session
• KEEP SMILING AND RELAX YOUR BODY
• Keep smiling and hold relaxed posture during the training session
• Off all ‘Things you wear’, your Expression is ‘The Most Important’

General Posture

• Remain Alert
• Stand Gracefully
• Give space to pothers
• Keep your weight on both legs
• Keep your feet in one firm position
• Don’t shift during the training session
• Keep your ‘Master Eye’ closed

Aim

• Fix your gaze on the trip of the Fore-Sight
• See Fore-Sight through ‘U’ of the Back-Sight
• Bring Fore-Sight equal in height to the uppermost edge of ‘U’ of the Back-Sight
• Bring Fore-Sight in widthwise center of the ‘U’ of the Back-Sight
• Make ‘W’ with tip of the Fore-Sight as center of the alphabet
• Aim alignment of Fore-Sight adjusted with in ‘U’ of Back-Sight to the ‘Center of Bull’ (the innermost Center of the black circles of the Target Card) or 6PM mark as instructed
• Press the free-play of the trigger while aiming and after your aim, squeeze the trigger in one attempt, gently and without jerk

Seize Fire Command

• During firing session, never go beyond firing stations
• If it is unavoidable to go in front of firing point, notify with reasoning appeal to your coach for ‘Seize Fire Command’
• Listen ‘Seize Fire Command’ from Range Officer/Instructor
• Empty your weapon by firing on ground before Firing Station (Not on Target)
• Put Safety Flag in your barrel and leave the weapon on firing point, they you can go in front towards Target side
• Finish your work in the firing area and come back as soon as possible
• After solving the hurdle, Range Officer/Instructor will announce ‘Seize Fire-Off Command’
• Then you can resume firing session

Breathing and Trigger Operation

• Gently release almost of your breath while pressing the free play (Ist pull) of the trigger
• Take Aim and squeeze the trigger (IInd Pull) in one smooth movement within 5-10 Seconds
• Fire if ready within 5-10 Seconds or put your weapon down and try again after few Seconds of rest
• Take no jerk while pulling the trigger
• Slowly come back and be aware of your surroundings and gently put down your weapon until next shot
